It's official, I'm growing a human....

Introducing our little Tu'ifua:

One of the main reasons I finally got in gear and started a blog was that I finally had something relatively exciting to blog about - our expanding family!! I am 11 weeks along with a tentative due date of September 14th. Going to the doctor and hearing the heartbeat was such a neat experience. We are so excited to be parents but are glad we still have a bit more time to prepare!! :) Vaka has been very supportive through my bouts of nausea and endless exhaustion, and I am so grateful. I haven't done the dishes in months!! On a side note, as the waistbands start to tighten, this is how I feel:

Or rather, my blog, since I doubt Vaka will be making posts anytime soon. :) Yes, I have decided to hop on the blogging bandwagon, for the obvious reasons of keeping our family and friends up-to-date with our lives, as well as to allow me to fulfill my need to have a creative writing outlet because really, how does one make a legal document creative? For whatever purpose, we are officially inviting you to enjoy our journey with us!
